Umpqua Lighthouse Campground
Description
Less than a mile from Salmon harbor and Winchester Bay is Umpqua Lighthouse campground--a simple, year-round gem centralized around the serene reflection of Lake Marie and the commanding presence of the Umpqua lighthouse.
23 tent sites with nearby water, two lakeview rustic log cabins, two rustic yurts, six deluxe yurts, (some of which are pet friendly!), a hiker/biker camp, free hot showers and flush toilets can all be expected here, as well as a sweet mixture of salt air, sitka spruce, shore pine and western hemlock. Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance, otherwise it’s first-come, first-served. Reserve a spot and stay for more than one night at Umpqua so you can savor all the wild goodness of lake, bay, ocean, dune and forest.
