Description
Seize the seasonal May through September camping near the sweet surface of Goose Lake, where you can choose between electrical sites with water and then nest your tent on a grassy bed. Flush toilets, hot showers, picnic tables, fire rings and an RV dump station are also available. Relax at this Oregon/California straddler and watch migratory waterfowl lavish affection on a remote aquatic reverie.

Nice large state campground. Pricey $22 but has showers. Very quiet and off main road. Short but nice hikes. Could not get to lake as it has shrunk and now has marsh. Right on Or/Cal border.

The lake is very shallow, and doesn't always have water anywhere near the campground. It sites literally right next to the CA border, but thankfully is an OR campground, not a CA one. Very pleasant stopover along 395.
