Gorgeous, serene 38 acres of pristine woodlands, trails and meadows. Our property is named after our large White German Shepard, don’t worry she’s friendly. Enjoy the sounds and sights of nature. Take a stroll down our personal trails, or bring your four-wheelers/bikes and enjoy the 1000s of kilometres of trails that begin after our driveway. Piles of rocks throughout the bush indicate that this land once was farmed. A creek runs through the property with a beaver pond. The land has a main trail that goes right through to the back of the property. The land is a mixed forest with maple, pine, hemlock, birch and cedar. The land is rolling and flat with good walking trails. Great hiking, cross country skiing or biking trails. Only 50 minutes to Kanata, 30 minutes to Perth, Almonte or Carleton Place, and for downhill skiing only 30 minutes to Calabogie. Many lakes in the area for fishing, swimming and boating. When you turn onto our road you will cross over the Clyde river which features a boat launch and incredible fishing. Other attractions in the area include 3 beaches within 20 minutes and the Serendipity Alpaca and Llama Farm and Sanctuary, where you can have a personal encounter with these beautiful creatures. Items to note: we have a little hobby farm including chickens, bees, cats, and dogs. Dogs are friendly just thought we should mention them in case anyone is concerned. Campfires are permitted and firewood is available to purchase - please add this as an extra at the time of booking. Come out and enjoy this little piece of serenity with your friends or family. I'm very happy with the stays I've had here. The hosts were very nice, the spot is easy to find and clean. I was able to reach the spot when my sedan without difficulty. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that the dogs bark quite often (but they're very nice with people). Still, it's a great place that I would recommend!

What a beautiful place to rest and to enjoy the nature. The owners are great host and so generous. The sites are well maintained. The location is near greats roads and things to see.

Exceeded expectations!

I have camped at many a private campground similar to this. I have to say, the entire weekend was exceptional! I loved having the animals around, enjoyed chatting with Jacob and Andrea and the rest of the family. I never felt once like I was visiting. Sky was always there to great Wesley and I. All the animals, the conversation and as well the alone time. I am already working it into my calendar for another stay this summer. Love it, recommend it! Just go do it!

I highly recommend this beautiful serene location. No matter which direction you look at, it’s a beautiful view, surrounded by ponds and hikable forest. Jacob and his wife are wonderful people with great energy. If you’re looking for a place to camp or RV, this is it!
