Heartstone tent site is a stunningly beautiful, romantic campsite for 2! There is a new, large tent pad if you have children! The Diamondstone site is a unique, beautiful, one-of-a-kind tentsite, EXCEPT a beautiful, furnished, shelter cabin is provided for you instead of your tent!!! Leave your tent and set-up at home! There is also room for a tent and your children out front, right beside the creek! Islandsite is an equally beautiful tent site ideally for two, but the 10x12 platform can accommodate a 6-man tent, best for 2 adults and a couple of kids! You won't want to leave, but if you do there are many recreational opportunities in the area such as hiking, biking, rafting, fishing, and more! Stays of 6 days or more get a big discount! Enjoy the fresh, cooler mountain air, and the beautiful, settings! Heartstone is located on a modestly pitched, terraced slope where a divided mountain stream, the tumbling Squally Creek rejoins itself! The sunlight filters down through the forest canopy providing a warm, inviting glow!! There is a 9'-6" x 10' wooden tent platform, and if needed a new, larger tent pad! Islandsite is located at the top of the island where the tumbling Squally Creek divides! Access is provided by the 40' long fallen tree bridge! Islandsite is unique, private, and very romantic! Diamondstone, Heartstone, and Islandsite feature a picnic table, charcoal grille, and comfort facility all within a short walk from your private parking! Enjoy evenings at the new fire pit area with benches overlooking the fire pit and creek! Explore the island on the 400' island trail, or go downstream to a nice pool for dipping! Contact me for discounts when staying more than 6 nights! The gravel road is uneven, and 5" of clearance is recommended. Extra guests are an available option! The property is spacious and there is parking for a second vehicle nearby if needed!

Islandsite

Just about perfect!

Beautiful little camping spot and so peaceful next to the water. It was very cold and rainy my first morning and Brian was my hero bringing me a cup of warm cider and even offering me a move to the cabin. He was at his camper but respected our space. Wasn’t an issue at all. All of his campsites have such thoughtful and creative little touches. Brian takes care of ea site and the extra amenities are well appreciated. My stay at Islandsite was great. I can’t wait to come back and stay at the other sites too! Just book it. Don’t hesitate.

Thank You Brian and Nature

Perfect little oasis to disconnect and recenter myself and the pup! Brian was very hospitable. Brought by hot apple cider in the morning, along with extra wood and cleaning supplies. This land and the blood, sweat and tears put into creating such a space deserves to be greatly revered. I tend to choose new places, but this is somewhere I would absolutely return.

Lovely cabin on a lovely river

I was planning a father/son camping weekend in our tiny RV when I discovered we had lost our keys to the hitch ball lock. I didn’t want to cancel the trip and went on hipcamp and found this incredible cabin. It was everything we were looking for and more. The cabin was just the perfect amount of space, clean, and beautiful. The location was stunning, located directly on a wonderful river (our dog loved this feature), and tucked away into the mountains. A lot of care and planning went into this cabin and the experience of the guests. I particularly loved the drive in on the dirt roads and observing the other cabins scattered along the river. We will be back many, many times. 10/10 Five stars.

Heartstone

This was our second year visiting one of Brian’s campsites. This year we stayed at Heartstone. It was absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful, private and serene. Listening to the waters rushing while the leaves are falling are reason enough to visit in the fall. Outside from nature though, Brian takes great care of his sites and provides a grill with camping utensils, necessary bathroom amenities and truly cares about his visitors and ensuring they have a great time. We will be back for year 3 and are already counting the days!

Peaceful & Beautiful

We loved this spot! Brian was super nice and available if we needed anything but for the most part made himself scarce. The camping spot was beautiful, private and serene. The creek was so nice to sleep next to and explore in. We were relaxed the whole weekend. We also went out the little driveway and hiked up to the left for a good bit. Our dogs loved it and we loved it! We will definitely be back!
