Got a likin’ for lakes? Visit Lake Norman State Park, home to it’s namesake which so happens to be the largest manmade lake in the state topping out at a massive 32,510 acres. The park itself encompasses 13 miles of it’s 520 mile shoreline giving you plenty to frolick on. AKA the Inland Sea, Norman Lake has all the water sports you can imagine: boating, fishing, and swimming. When your swamped from lakin’ it up in the sun, munch on your day’s catch and crash at the cozy campground!
