Just 20 minutes from Raleigh, NC sits a beautiful 60 acre farm full of southern sophistication and country charm! Two large, beautiful, well-stocked ponds (13 acres) grace the property and are brimming with egrets, heron and geese.  One water and electric hookup (20 amps ONLY) is available for a small RV/Camper/Pop-up/Sleeper (20' and under) or tent(s).  The main site (campsite 8) has a private dock, picnic tables and a park grill (charcoal) for guests to enjoy. Located at the shoreline and a perfect spot to put your kayak, paddle board, canoe or inner tube in the water! Firewood is available on site for $6 cash per bundle. Please note, property owner's home, vacation rental and barns are located on site. Please check the map in our photos to see the full layout.  **This area is perfect for large groups, birthday parties, gatherings and events! For groups larger than 9 people, please see our "Bell Lakes Estate Event Venue" listing on Hipcamp. Additional rates apply.** BATHROOM: Porta john and camping sink located near the barn. Deep sink with spray hose and potable water is located at the lower level of the main house.  WATERCRAFT RENTAL: 2 kayaks and 1 pedal boat are available to rent for just $10/hour. Life jackets are required on all Bell Lakes Estate rented watercraft. We have limited sizes available to rent, so we recommend bringing your own. ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES: Fishing, hiking, bird watching, mountain biking, drone flying.

Bell Lakes Estate-RV/Motorhome
A peaceful stay by a private lake
This was an absolutely beautiful spot. We were the only campers there and essentially had the small lake to ourselves. The hosts' directions were clear -- they live on site, but check in is contactless and we didn't see them at all so it felt very private. The toilet is a porta potty but utterly immaculate and equipped with a cute little sink with soap and towel supplied. We were only there a short time as this was just a stop through town to visit with a friend in Raleigh while we are on a two-month road trip. We opted to host our friend and her kids at the lake because it was so beautiful with plenty of seating around a fire pit. If you need electric/water, it is available but not right next to the place where you'd likely want to set up so a longer extension cord/hose is helpful.

Perfect site for bikepacking
This was a great spot to camp for our bikepacking trip and everyone in the group had an awesome time! Joanne was a wonderful host with great communication and the space had everything we needed. The site was easy to get to using the Greenway system and I would highly recommend. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay at Joanne’s land at Bell Lake. She made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Was available immediately to answer any questions by email. Property was quiet, lake was beautiful. Highly recommend!!! Would definitely stay again

Such a great spot! Very convenient location, host was extremely communicative, the check-in process and people on-site were so helpful, and the scenery was beautiful! Everyone had a wonderful time!

Beautiful pond camping
Joanne's property is so pretty! Even though the RV site is closest to the house, you'd never know it during your stay. It felt completely private, and is so quiet. This was our third time staying, and we enjoy it every time!
