Wolf Mountain Historic Cabin
The cabin is great, the area stunning. The only issue is getting there. If you're planning to use this cabin be sure to have a good hard copy map and know exactly what roads you need before you go. The GPS is helpless in the mountains and you can't call for directions. If you find your self starting up a "gravel" road, DON'T. It's impassible. There is another way and the cabin is only yards off the pavement. I had some problems getting there but it's a great quiet place and I'd go back. The only fishing is several miles away, however.

Special Holiday Tent Camping
This place is great!! Absolutely beautiful views, and the nicest hosts ever. The Christmas tree farm was so charming and it's so close to tons of waterfalls. Bit of advice, Listen to what Terry says about directions. DO NOT trust your gps, it will take you down a crazy sand/rock road. Just follow Terry's directions and you'll get here easily. Definitely worth a second trip!

Special Holiday RV Camping
The host was trying to meet our needs, but the campsite was still in setting up so the amenity advertised on the website, such as hot/cold shower or water supply at the tent site wasn't available.
It had a potential, but the tent site was full of poison ivy without privacy between each tent site.

Mountain "Glamping" Cabin
Could possibly be a neat place to stay away from it all with even just a few updates - a door that isn't half-eaten by termites, functioning light bulbs, window screens, nicer sheets, and better water/toilet options. As it is, it was not in the least bit peaceful with an incessantly barking dog, scuzzy furnishings, and general feeling of unease being in the middle of nowhere with no means of communication and insubstantial security features.

Special Holiday RV Camping
Terry and his whole crew were fantastic! Recognizing the need for more space, Terry prepared and opened up his beautiful property to all of us Solar Eclipse campers! My boyfriend and I found out he was able to get off work on Thursday, and we had fruitlessly looked for somewhere to camp. We aren't impulsive people, but we drove down Saturday with cautious optimism, and were able to make a reservation for Bear Creek/Turtle Creek that afternoon as we were on our way!
I can't say enough about how welcoming Terry, his crew, and the campgrounds are! We will absolutely be back, with friends!

An amazing experience and an amazing host. So much property to explore on a hike, bike, or ATV. Terry was extremely accommodating and made every effort to ensure we had a great stay.
