1 acre hosted by Joseph S.
Unleash the inner-kid within you! The original owners did. They spent 40 years, plannting thousands of daffodils which grace the open patches in this two-acre mature hardwood climax forest (ash, oak, poplar, chestnut, locust) . The lower half of the property was not much used, so we added a firepit. And when the COVID pandemic set in, I set out to build a site for meditation and yoga, but 21 feet above the ground. I soon realized that the space was too beautiful for just one family and so we decided to open it up to the public.
We think you'll love the space. Namaste, Paz, and Peace to all who come to "Floating Heaven."

Two large treehouse platforms can be used with your sleeping bags, tents, and/or hammocks, floating 21 ft. securely off the ground. They are connected by a plank spanning some four feet. This is NOT an upscale European-style treehouse with furniture and bedding. Sleep under the stars or under a zinc roof. Yogis' choice.
We'll start you off with some kindling and a few logs to get you going. The main fee is for four (4) campers. $15 more each for up to two more campers.
Wonderful TAB (tree-anchor bolt) system designed by treehousesupplies.com lets the 60-80 foot tall poplars and oaks move without jarring the treehouse.
A small plank connects one platform that is flat and open (10'x12') to the other, which has a well-light cabin or casita (with a door, a window of egress, and two other windows). Guaranteed 7 pm - 7 am silence and beauty. The property is pretty steeply sloped but trails are graded. Pack economically to minimize the number of times you have to schlep things from the car down to the site too often.
We added a new casita that has lovely windows, door, and space for two adults and one child. Cots can be rented for $12 for one, $20 for two. Hammock is available for rent at $10 per night.
