The Plateau
My wife and I had the most amazing 2 night stay at Anna’s property. We stayed at the Plateau, you have the whole site to yourself with an amazing view out to the valley and mountains. The drive to the site was easy and didn’t need to engage 4wd though I would recommend 4wd for the plateau site particularly if there’s rain. There are other sites there too though we didn’t hear or see the other campers. We’re very thankful to have had the opportunity to stay here and will be back, definitely worth the drive from Brisbane.

First trip to doon doon
Loved camping by the river sleeping to the sounds. Great location and easy to get to. I would recommend 100 %

Natures Nest
Historic and geographic farm.
The farm is in a stunning valley surrounded by the rim of the ancient volcano with volcanic plugs; Dough boy ( actually on the property) and Mt Warning in the distance. There are gorgeous dams and u are a very close drive to Protesters waterfall. Anna and Tim left very clear instructions on how to get to our site ( they have a few sites and each one is very private) and very kindly dropped by to check everything was ok and chatted about local info. Lovely warm people.
I have already recommended the place on a 4WD motorhome group we are part of. Yuki pub is very close ( 20 mins) and we had a great lunch there and it’s a lovely pub and on our way out we also stopped for coffee in Yuki.

HIGHLY Recommend!!!!
100% recommend. We changed to the “plateau” site, which the view was incredible and flat open area. All instructions provided were spot on and the owners were really nice to deal with. THEW VIEW!!!! We will be back for sure 🙌
