Southwest Sage and Pinon Pine
Peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. Lots of nice places to walk and a great place for dogs to be off leash. We felt “away” that’s for sure and that was the goal.

A beautiful remote spot and a responsive host. You can (somewhat) hear the highway, but the singing of the frogs and the mooing of the cows nearby provide nice contrast.

We contacted her last minute and we're able to book a site. Very easy. And very beautiful.

Endless Camping Options on Sherisse's land... if you have 4x4. The road was unfortunately washed out in a couple of spots so we were limited to the first couple miles of the property to choose from. However, there were still numerous camps to choose from in this high elevation pine forest. Come and get away with acres and acres to explore!

Secluded and relaxing
My campsite was beautiful. Lots of mature trees and shade which was welcome since it was in the 90s. Unique mesas to explore. Be sure to take insect repellent for the gnats that congregate in the heat of the day.

Hot spot
The temps at Albuquerque were 100’s but the steady breeze through the pines made it feel cooler at our camp spot. It is very peaceful and just the best for a recharge. Of course, Sam the guide was a charmer. Great suggestions for hikes and sights for the painting artists.
