Cathedral Gorge Campground
Description
Cathedral Gorge Campground sits in a unique landscape of caves and cathedral spires formed by erosion of the soft bentonite clay. You’ll have respite from the sun since the campground is shaded by trees, and a covered picnic area is nearby. Explore this dramatic landscape on one of the many nearby trails. You’ll definitely want your camera for the awesome views of the canyon from Miller Point. Watch for critters like rabbits, mice, and gophers that live here. And if you’re lucky, you might see a red-tailed hawk or golden eagle overhead.
