Description
You don’t have to choose between nature or culture at Fort Robinson, where herds of buffalo and longhorn wander by the State Historical Society museum, and a single afternoon could yield lessons in mammoth fossils, the death of Sioux Chief Crazy Horse, and WWII-era POW camps. Why did we ever go to school when we could have learned so much from a state park, and get the added bonus of some exceptional Pine Ridge scenery? Stay at the campground any time of year for easy access to equestrian facilities, and miles and miles of Pine Ridge trails. You might not remember everything you learned at Fort Robinson, but we hope you’ll hold on to the memory of traversing the park in a horse drawn carriage!
