Kintla Lake Campground
Description
Come for the views and stay for the solitude at Kintla Lake Campground, and you’ll be the happiest camper in all of Glacier! Tent campers will enjoy the scenic dirt road drive into sites that offer perfect shade, plenty of privacy, and mountain views that will leave you breathless. Since Kintla Lake is first-come, first-served and fairly remote, you’ll find the place is rarely packed which means you’ll have the lake and its stellar trout fishing, canoeing, and kayaking all to yourself. There are also plenty of frontcountry day hike opportunities nearby if you want to frolic in the forest. With restrooms and water available you won’t be totally roughing it, but the location alone will make you feel like you’re the only adventurer in the park!
