Taum Sauk Section of the Ozark Trail
Description
One of the best trails in the state, this section of the Ozark Trail passes through Devil’s Tollgate, Bell Mountain Wilderness, and two state parks: Johnson Shut-ins and Taum Sauk Mountains. You’ll pass uniqe rock formations, springs, grand vistas, and an awesome swimming hole on the Taum Sauk Section of the Ozark Trail. Find a nice shady spot and pitch your tent, as long as it’s at least 100 feet from the trail.
