Situated on 36 acres, this working farm is 2 miles West of Taylors Falls. Dan and Danielle bought this property with the intention of growing stone fruits (plums, peaches, apricots and cherries) using sustainable and organic practices because health and wellness matter to them! They are still in the process of improving their property. Many of the building on the property were in poor condition, including the old barn foundation which is now one of Dan and Danielle favorite places to keep cool in the summer. After they had excavated all the debris (which took years) they were able to transform it with gardens and fire pit for all to enjoy. They love sharing what they have been blessed with! They hope you enjoy their place as much as they do! Feel free to ask them to show you around or even get your hands dirty with them as they plant or harvest.

"Cherry Bomb " Campsite on the Farm

I just got back from staying at this camping site. Dan was amazing. Very easy to talk to, very helpful, and had a very nice setup. The tent was huge. Way bigger than I thought it would be. Was perfect nice woodsy site.

Secluded Yurt-Style Tent

Dan is the best. The sites and location are amazing. Near Franconia Sculpture Park and Taylor’s Falls State Park. Try the wood fire pizza!

Worth checking out!

Dan was super hospitable and kind right from the start. He made sure we were prepared for the weather which was vital since we’ve had a pretty rainy season so far. We had everything we needed and more to enjoy our short, but sweet camping adventure. Thank you so much and we will definitely be back in the future!

Thank you!!

We loved staying at the Cherry Bomb Campsite! It was a bit of a trek there, but Dan provided nice wagons for us to use to haul our stuff to the campsite. He also provided firewood for purchase at the farm. Our campsite was a very nice, clean and secluded space with a composting toilet that worked very good!! Dan was very friendly and helpful, quick to respond. We had a wonderful time and hopefully will be back!!

Great Hosts

Dan was a very helpful and communicative host. He kept us updated on the condition of the campsite ahead of time (a lot of rain) and proactively reached out when any concerns arose. We ended up not actually staying at the campsite due to a last minute medical complication. Dan was gracious and understanding throughout it all. As far as hosts go, Dan was top notch.
