21 acres hosted by Jenni M.
We are a farm situated on a quiet creek located on the Chesapeake. It is a quaint waterfront fishing village where time slows down and people are friends you have not met. We host two campsites located near the shoreline. Secluded sites enjoy fire-pits and picnic tables. The property was originally a tobacco farm located on a peninsula called “Dumplin Neck” because a turn-of-the-century doctor loved the locals chicken and dumplings so much.
Close to several waterfront restaurants and a short hop to a local Paddle Sport company. You can combine them and kayak to 4 waterfront restaurants, sampling the fare along the way.
The farm path back to the campsites was once the main road to the Point but is long since forgotten but perfect for foraging or exploring.
There is easy access to the creek and a short paddle to our family’s micro-island and private beach. You can slip your kayak or canoe from our pier or the shoreline.
