Our cabin is equipped with a comfortable queen bed, fresh linens, battery bank, outdoor fire pit, and private portalet. Experience the feeling of being immersed in the wilderness while being just minutes from town! Downtown Waynesville is 10 minutes away, blue ridge parkway and Asheville are also nearby. Pack your bags and travel to the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina to enjoy a one of a kind rustic glamping experience with unparalleled views. Our mini off-grid glamping cabin is equipped with everything you need to enjoy a peaceful weekend in the mountains. The cabin has a comfortable queen bed (not an air mattress) with fresh linens and blankets. We provide rechargeable lamps and lanterns, a power bank to charge your devices, portable camping stove for outdoor cooking, basic kitchen/cooking utensils, and more. Outside the cabin you will find a private portalet, fire pit, and deck chairs. You only need to bring your personal items, food, water and spirits to enjoy a one of a kind experience in the mountains. Please note that the glamping cabin is an unheated space. Check the weather before arrival and plan to dress accordingly!  The cabin is designed for a maximum of two guests. No pets are permitted.  Enjoy beautiful uninterrupted views of the blue ridge mountains while lounging in bed. Watch as butterflies, dragonflies and hummingbirds float through the air. At night, experience excellent stargazing from the large pasture in front of the cabin. The cabin is incredibly private and peaceful. If you need anything during your stay, we live on the property and are available to help with anything you may need. Please note that there is a steep gravel driveway followed by a short drive through a field to access the glamping site. Four wheel drive vehicles are STRONGLY recommended. If your vehicle can’t make it all the way to the site there is a parking area below, its around a ten minute walk from the site. If you’re concerned about your vehicle’s ability to access the site, please contact us before booking. Our glamping cabin is an excellent opportunity to unplug and connect with nature. However, if you don’t want to disconnect from the rest of the world completely, cell service is available at the cabin!  The glamping cabin is located on a 70+ acre private property. More than half of the property is woodlands and wildlife homes. There are private trails through the woods if you’re feeling adventurous! The lower part of the property is a nonprofit farm animal sanctuary. The farm animal sanctuary is home to 75+ rescued farm animals. Other things to note: This is a no smoking rental. Smoking in or near the rental will incur a fee. Pets are not allowed, thank you for respecting our no pet policy. We ask that muddy hiking boots are not worn inside the cabin. Please bring socks to wear in side! Please remember that the cabin is not a heated structure. Be sure to pack layers, it can get quite chilly in the mornings and evenings. We ask that food and garbage is not left outside to avoid attracting unwanted critters. Use of electricity is provided, but limited. Electricity is available through a battery bank and battery powered lights. The battery bank is intended to charge phones and small devices, use of larger devices such as hair dryers will likely not be possible. Take this opportunity to enjoy unplugging and be one with nature :) We kindly request that you plan to arrive before dark to get acquainted with the camp site.

Glamping in the mountains
Amazing little cabin with a beautiful view of the mountains! Woke up to fall colors all around us. The drive up is steep and definitely requires some ground clearance, so keep that in mind before booking. Once you make it to the top you are welcomed with a cozy fire pit and really comfortable bed to get all tucked into! No heat or electricity but they have a small power bank for your laptop / phone etc. If it’s gonna be cold outside it will be cold inside the cabin! Just bundle up :)
