Sylvan Park Campground
Description
Get on over to Sylvan Park Campground and get yourself on a boat! Located just below the dam at Wilson Lake, you can choose from sites that overlook the Saline River exiting the dam, or views of the Old Saline River channel. Due to the high salinity content of the river, ocean-native striped bass grow to enormous sizes and there are plenty of other species to fish including walleye, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, channel catfish and flathead catfish. The nearby town of Lucas is known as the “Grassroots Art Capital of Kansas."
