Lucas Park Campground
Description
Located at the north end of Wilson Lake, Lucas Park Campground is a delight for anglers. Beyond that though, there are several nearby trails to hike including the Bur Oak Nature Trail (0.75 miles) and Rocktown Hiking Trail, a 3-mile loop trail within a 305-acre wildlife area. The cool part about this trail is it features ginormous red sandstone rock formations that rise 15 to 30 feet above the ground, and look a little like a city’s skyline.

It's in the middle of nowhere, but absolutely gorgeous. Be sure to head into Lucas to see the Garden of Eden.
