Lowden Campground
Description
Basketball, volleyball and baseball facilities are just one small bonus of staying at Lowden Campground. The larger, more compelling reasons to book an overnight include the incredible beauty of the bluffs, the opportunity to picnic, boat and fish along the scenic Rock River, and the rich Native American history of Lowden State Park. From the camp, you can take one of two trails that will lead you through the area, and you’re within easy walking distance of the park’s famed 50-foot concrete statue of an American Indian figure gazing out over the river.

Gorgeous in the fall. Camping sites have electric only. And are walking distance to the Blackhawk Statue.
