This is the only beachfront private property campsite on the island. Park right next to your tent. No worries about having to leave your car out of sight. This spot is behind a locked gate that you have a key for no curfew come and go as you like. Most choose not to go anywhere they like it right here. I've heard from more people that stayed elsewhere on the island and they say they wish they came here first. Oceanfront island style getaway with mango, banana and coconut trees in the yard. Hear the ocean while you fall asleep. restroom, hot shower with changing room, fresh water, 110v electricity for phone or laptop charging no plug for vans to run a/c or fridge, washing machine available for $10 per load, beachfront cabana with lounge chairs and hammock. David’s place is great! It was our first Hip Camp and would definitely stay here again. Safe and accommodating. The best thing is the beach access. We pretty much had our own private beach. There were a couple other parties there during our time there but we hardly saw them. David is very responsive and helpful. Two thumbs up to David’s Hip Camp!

Private beach ~ camping in paradise

Our experience staying at Dave's property was beautiful, convenient, peaceful and honestly perfect. It was exactly what we were looking for. He was incredibly helpful and offered electricity outlets, a fan for hotter times, and an air mattress since we didnt have one which was SUPER nice and helped our tent spot be even more cozy. We loved everything about our stay. I wouldn't call it glamorous, but camping out on your own private beach on a gorgeous piece of this glorious island--what more could you ask for??? The ocean is beyond stunning and right there, maybe a 1 minute walk down the yard. The view offers endless blue dreamy waters, mountains, palm trees and the city skyline of Honolulu. You can see both the sunrise AND the sunset from this special spot on the island!! How cool is that! ((Pro tip: bring water shoes for the rocks or find pockets of less rocky areas in the water to swim right there.)) There is a working bathroom (flushing toilet + sink), outdoor kitchen area with cooking tools, grill and a sink if you need any of that, a shower room with great water pressure (only issue is it's on propane so it's a little bit of a struggle between cold and scorchingly hot, but maybe we were doing it wrong & still so thankful it was offered at all!!) Location was perfect for Ewa Beach area. We even ubered one night and it was very reasonably priced due to the superb location for what we were after. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you again for everything.

Private Beach? Yes Please!

Fantastic spot! The views from the beach are stunning and the feel is private. The shower/sink/toilet set up that have been built are awesome. Would recommend to anyone and will hope to stay again.

Enjoyed our stay. Friendly host and safe area. Loved the fire pit right on the beach. Very affordable, especially compared to staying in the Honolulu area.
