Pondside Tiny Cabin Retreat
We really enjoyed staying in Carol’s tiny cabin! It is really accessible and features everything you might need for a pleasant stay. When we arrived (quite late in the evening due to being held up at work), there was a campfire waiting for us. The directions are super clear and there’s plenty of signage to support you with confidently navigating the space. The Pondside views are incredible!

Pondside Tiny Cabin Retreat
Carol and Ricky were amazing hosts! The space is a perfect slice of paradise and just far enough from the city to feel like you’re getting away. The site was equipped with power and lighting, and super clean comfortable sleeping arrangement. We will be back in the spring for sure!

Pondside Tiny Cabin Retreat
This was a perfect site to take my four year old camping for the first time. The cute shelter was a wonderful backup just in case the tent didn’t work out. Carol was incredible kind and helpful. The warm water station was wonderful for washing up and there was plenty of firewood available. I highly recommend a stay at Carol’s place!

Pondside Tiny Cabin Retreat
This little slice of heaven was perfect for my pitstop between hikes! The set up was adorable, secluded and exactly what I needed for the night. Hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Cozy cot inside the tiny cabin. Best, unexpected feature was the warm water wash station left by the hosts! Only recommendation for future visitors, bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, as the crossroad is highly traveled and can be a little noisy.

Perfect Low-Key Camping
My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful time here this weekend! The campsite was perfect. The shelter even has a locking door if you wish to lock it and check out the local sites. We went to the Country Fair that was a mile down the road, and it was perfect. The pond is full of big fish, but bring some live bait. Our 7-year-old daughter had a blast catching guppies and frogs in the evening. The walking trail around the lake was perfect for a different fishing spot. We always bring everything, and we were still able to borrow something from Carol and Ricky with just a text. They have more than helpful touches around the site, and the solar lighting is the perfect ambiance. The park style grill was really nice to have and made my job a lot easier! We were even given a quick tour of the property by Carol and Ricky on their 4-wheelers. This is a wonderful site, especially for those with kids and pets. Steps away from your parking to the pond and to your bed. The road is somewhat nearby, but even on a “busy” weekend there, we didn’t find it bothersome at all. We loved our stay. Thank you for having us!
