Homosassa is an old Florida fishing town that is a hidden gem along the gulf coast, this site is nestled quietly at the head of the river. This location is close to Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park where you can discover the wild side of Florida with endangered Florida panther, red wolf, manatee and whooping crane, plus black bear, bobcat and, of course, alligator. The site is located 150 ft from the dock on our private residential property at the head of the springs. This is a residential area and is very quiet.  This listing is for the SITE ONLY. Setup your own RV under the shade then enjoy our shared dock with direct access into the Homosassa springs for a refreshing dip or paddle. We provide full hookups (water, sewer, 50amp electric) for your RV as well as WIFI service and access to the docks for your boat or swimming. We have kayaks and paddleboards INCLUDED with our site or bring your own to paddle the springs and take a chance at seeing a manatee up close and personal or catching some fish. Homosassa Springs RV SITE with dock
Florida Camping Gem
I loved the property. So welcoming with all the plants and a little fairy garden . Easy to back in gravel lot with a fire pit and outdoor dining patio set. But our favorite part was the dock on the creek with access to the river. Beautiful place to kayak. Would definitely comeback for another visit when in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Alonda’s site! The place is beautiful and close to everything you need. Alonda went out of her way to keep us updated after the Hurricane passed through the area. She was quick to respond to any questions. We look forward to going back!

Oh - we loved this place! Florida weather wasn’t cooperating with us but it was still so beautiful. The spring is gorgeous, Alonda was incredibly responsive to inquiries, and the site was just perfect. We’d love to come back!

Homosassa Springs RV SITE with dock
Wonderful campsite. Very easy to park and setup. Easy access to power and water. Super convenient. The site is flat and well maintained. Despite being close to homes, its uniquely private. The dock and spring is beautiful. We didn't get to use it because it rained a bit, but we plan on coming back. The host was very quick with communication and had everything available for us. For a quick local getaway or as an actual destination, this is a wonderful spot! Highly Recommend!
