Coldwater Gardens is an agritourism & ecotourism retreat located in Milton, FL. We focus on education, recreation, and exploration of nature and agricultural practices. Enjoy the creek, eat from the gardens, hangout at the terrace and glamp the night away. With 8 miles of trails and primitive roads there's plenty to see, and no shortage of wildlife and amazing plants. We are working to restore 120 acres of longleaf pine forest, you may even get lucky enough to catch a prescribed burn. We currently offer 10 primitive campsite (right on the sandy beaches of Coldwater Creek), 6 glamping tents in their own small neighborhood, one tiny house (it's pretty sweet), a "treehouse", and 4 luxury cottages. If you want to see the real Florida and stay away from crowded beaches, we've got you covered. See the property map here The property was owned by a large timber and paper processing company. They clear cut all of the longleaf pine trees that used to thrive in this region. Only 3% of the old growth longleafs are still standing in the USA. We are currently restoring the land to it's natural state by planting thousands of longleafs, conducting prescribed burns, and responsibly re-developing wildlife habitats. Our goal is to educate people on the environment and how to enjoy everything the land has to offer responsibly.

    Glamping Camp
    A wonderful weekend experience for two. The Glamping tents were perfect for relaxed camping in cold weather and made for a spacious refuge when we had a little rain our first day. The amenities are above and beyond in quality. The staff, Nick, made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcome. The day hiking was great too and very peacful. Planning a return trip with a group of friends and family soon.

    Glamping Camp
    Best camping trip I've been on in a long time. Wonderful atmosphere and people. Glamping tents are the way to go can't wait to visit again.

    Treehouse
    The treehouse was so fun to stay in. It overlooks a beautiful field that had the most beautiful sunset. The inflatable hot tub was a big hit with kids. The bedroom was super cozy and we loved the outdoor area and the separate kitchen and bathrooms. The setup was very quaint and cute and it was an overall really fun experience!
