Double Cabin Campground
Description
Petrified forests are undeniably cool, and you’ll have the opportunity to see one with Frontier Creek Trail, one of two wilderness hiking options stemming directly from Double Cabin Campground. A small moderate-use campground set in a paved loop on the edge of the Washakie Wilderness, this place isn’t just excellent for hiking, but also plain ol’ nature viewing. Whether you stay near or venture far, you’re sure to get an eyeful!

Great fly fishing area! It is not the most obvious of roads to take but it is a beautiful spot! Rangers do patrol it often as well.
