We bought this land and built a 4000sqft barndiminiom to develop a therapeutic ranch, during COVID the vision had to be modified we still work with people at the ranch but in much smaller fashion than planned we are still wanting to privide opportunities for children and families within our community. We also take in rescue animals we have a 3 legged goat with no ears, a calf that was bling with broken leg, a foundered pony and there has been others along the way. We run this ranch as a family and bring in other family members to offer other opportunities. Cooking for a meal or special occasions, horse back riding, trail riding, ATV, classes such as how to make goat cheese, soap, milk a goat etc... Learn more about this land: We have a wide array of animals. Our Ranch is used to help people so our animals are extremely friendly with many of them being rescues. We have a 4000sqft barndiminiom which is listed as Airbnb if not booked there will be access to facility if booked access will be closed off. We offer experiences too! Horse back riding trail riding, classes limited availability. We have horses, cows, goats, pony, chickens, great pyrenees, rabbit chickens, etc....

Secluded, comfortable, and private!
We needed a place to stop halfway between Denver and Mount Rushmore, and came across this guest ranch. The RV campsites are on opposite ends of the grounds, so you’re not crammed in next to someone else like you are at most campsites. The animals were the best part for the kids of course, and you’re free to wander around, pet them, and play with the little goat (Ozzy!). Stephanie, the host, is wonderful, and will help make sure you have a great stay! We actually stopped back for another night on our way home, and were able to stay in the huge “barndominium”, which is super comfortable with all the amenities you need. The owners are in the process of updating things to add even more camping amenities, and we are excited to see what they do with it!

Our stay was brief. We had a delightful evening during our stop on our way to Spearfish, SD.

Recommendation to set up tent in the riding stable didn’t work - way to many “land mines”. Setting up just outside of the stables worked out much better. Bring earplugs if dog barking or rooster crowing will disrupt your sleep. Thought the price was high compared to the facilities available at state parks.

Awesome site to experience farm life. Tons of friendly animals to interact with (cows, goats, chickens, rabbit, dogs, cats) Family is very nice, friendly and offer tons of add ons. Gorgeous barndaminium for rent on the site also. Plenty of room to turn around with our 35' travel trailer. Dipstick the bull next door is ENOURMOUS and should be a world record. Great stay..

My daughter and her 3 children and her dog had a very pleasant experience at Stephanie's Hipcamp. We had great communication upon arrival and set up a ranch tour for later that evening. The tour included information about the many animals and we even had a chance to milk a goat and a cow! I would highly recommend staying at this Hipcamp! My grandkids especially enjoyed petting all the animals!
