In 2004 we purchased the acreage and soon discovered that it is located 1/2 mile from the Horner Buffalo Jump Archeological site. Thus our property, due to its steep terrain immediately took the name “Buffalo Jump”. With its many native trees and bushes the property became an ideal location for an artists studio, and since it had the RV site already in place, we soon had many friends and guests stopping by during the summer months. In 2020 we joined with hipcamp to make the RV site available to select campers. Far back in time the area was utilized by the first campers; Native Americans, who were here living off the land. Artifacts attest to the fact that the property and surrounding regions has been inhabited for the past ten thousand years. Quiet hours …all hours. We are located just 50 miles from Yellowstone park!
