Waterfront Tent Site 1
The site was gorgeous and the hosts were very accomodating.
That being said, the desecrated pride flag at the beginning of the dirt road leading to the site was very unsettling. It didn't seem like the hosts had anything to do with this hateful display- but it feels worth mentioning none the less, given the close proximity to the site.

Waterfront Tent Site 1
HIDDEN GEM!!!
I don’t even know where to start! The property was absolutely beautiful!!! From the crystal clear water to the amazing view of the stars to the true hospitality of Amber and her family…the whole trip was beyond amazing!!! Truly one of a kind place to stay. There was a huge field with tons of open space for the dogs to run around and play and for the adults to play too. The lake was breathtaking! There was a very nice dock where we could just sit and look at the water. It also had a ladder which made getting out of the water so easy! They provided tons of rafts and stuff to use in the water. They also provided free, already cut firewood…and if you’ve ever camped before you know how clutch it is to have firewood. The endless supply made it so nice because we got to spend all of our time enjoying the whole experience instead of constantly having to gather firewood.
The campsite and property is just something you have to see for yourself!!! The beauty and serenity of it all is something you can’t put into words.
I’ve been a lot of places and this is by far the heavy favorite. I will no longer need to look anywhere else for campsites…Amber’s land is all you’ll ever need!!! Can’t wait to go back!

Overlook Cabin
I loved my stay at this cabin! The location was remote and private just like I had hoped. The lake was incredible and hosts were friendly and responsive. Despite tropical storm Debbie, it was a beautiful and peaceful stay in the rain. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy that lake to its fullest!!!

Waterfront Tent Site 1
This was my first Hipcamp experience and it did not disappoint. We stayed at the waterfront tent site. We arrived shortly before dark and met Amber on the drive in. She directed down to the site and we began setting up our camp before it got totally dark. Larry came down a few mins later to check and make sure the tiki torches at our site were topped off and that firewood was available. The water in the pond is beautiful and we spent the next day, swimming, hanging out on the floating dock, and floating on all the tubes that were available there. It’s a quick drive over to Blackwater Falls so we made a trip over there the next day. Amber and Larry are great hosts and super friendly. Wish you both well and congrats on your wedding this weekend. We’ll definitely be back for another visit!
