Lovely Sites Near the Stream
Enjoyed a one night stay at Johns lovely property! The campsites were all unique in their own way, we took the site tucked under the trees. You can hear the babbling stream as you sleep- loved it. And so close to the park entrance! John was a great host although our time spent was short, but would certainly recommend this little paradise if you’re visiting paradise 🧚♀️

Zen camping in the woods
John was a very down to earth and friendly host. He offered the fridge and cooking area for our use which I partook in chilling my beer. My boyfriend and I got our pick of the litter for different camping spots-there were at least half a dozen to choose from. We settled on the one next to the smaller stream with the bridge down from this really cool tree. It was spacious for our 3 person tent and chairs and table. It was tucked away from some other sites which made it nice and quiet. That evening I walked all around the property which was quite large and very zen with a lot of bridges, driftwood sculptures, chairs, lights leading the way on the ground, a chair and hammock area, blackberry bushes and a lot more. We both loved it and want to come back with more friends to camp in the future. The stream was very relaxing to listen to and fall asleep to later in the night. Wonderful stay! Dispersed Camping
John was very welcoming - we arrived late in the middle of a storm and John offered us to stay in the garage with a comfortable setup rather than set up our tent in the rain. Went well above our expectations and would recommend!

Slice of heaven in Ashford!
John’s Hipcamp is amazing. The sites are beautiful, the setting is beautiful— we loved the gazebo area and appreciated the common area/kitchen ammenities. We will be back for sure!
