Come on out and check out the natural beauty Skokomish Park at Lake Cushman has to offer. Skokomish Park at Lake Cushman, formerly known as Camp Cushman or Lake Cushman State Park, covers over 500 acres with three boat-launch ramps on the 41,500 feet of freshwater shoreline on Lake Cushman. Park facilities include campsites, RV pull-thru and back-in sites, walk-in campsites, and two group camping areas. Plus, two fantastic day-use areas with picnic sites, a picnic shelter, and comfort stations located throughout the park. The natural beauty of the area can be explored on any of our trails. The eastern part of the Olympic Peninsula has loads of great trails around us in the Olympic National Park. Trailheads nearby include Big Creek, Mount Rose, Mount Ellinor, Dry Creek, Copper Creek, Wagonwheel Lake, Staircase Rapids, Big Log Camp, and Flapjack Lakes. Mount Ellinor Trail is rated 5 stars by many.

Lovely time camping.

We loved the amenities! The campground was lovely and easy to find. Lots of places to walk with the dogs and family friendly. We will be back!

We loved Skokomish Park! Lots of amenities not available at other sites. The movie night was an extra bonus! We would stay again.

#98 Tent Walk In

Early season camp

We had a great time here! Site 98 was nicely tucked away into a wooded area. Plenty of flat spaces for a few tents. Pretty secluded, very quiet (we did a Mon-Wed visit), beautiful tall shady trees all around. The Hipcamp map is misleading, this site does not have a view is the lake, but a view of it is a short walk away. Beach access is further south, but also a manageable walk without a vehicle. If you want to get two sites next to each other, do 98 & 99. Be aware that the parking is a little wonky, but it's an easy walk from wherever you park in the walk-in area. The overall park is lovely, clean, nice bathrooms, WiFi in some areas, lots of amenities, and the people who work there are very nice and knowledgeable. The store on property has a little of everything (sunblock, bug spray, snacks, etc) including bags of ice and fire wood. Highly recommend this park! I'm sure it gets bonkers when the weather is warmer.

Great spot. All workers were amazing and went out of there way to make sure everyone had a good time. Back in RV sites are very close. But everything around you made up for it. Amazing views at the lake. Great paddle boarding and kayaking.
