Description

Located on a lush lagoon off the Snake River, the Sacajawea Campground is the only campsite in Sacajawea State Park. This is a great spot for wildlife viewing, so keep your eyes peeled for deer, rabbits, raccoons, eagles, and hummingbirds! The rivers are also teeming with fish like salmon and bass. Surrounded by the stunning beauty of the park, you can imagine the experiences of Sacajawea, Lewis, Clark, and the rest of their expedition when they camped here in 1805! Except they probably didn’t have restrooms and volleyball fields...
