Relax and enjoy the privacy and beauty of our 10-acre secluded property. The property is a mowed, open grass field surrounded by forest. Camp sites have a view of an eagle's nest (two young eagles are in the nest right now!) and our six-hole frisbee golf course. Frisbees are provided and only campers and the residents use the course. Camp sites include a raised 12' by 12' tent pad, picnic table, space for one or two vehicles that can be parked near the forest or in the field, and use of a porta-potty (cleaned daily and pumped out weekly). Potable water is located from a spigot in the pasture. Choose from three camp sites: Eagle Eyrie, Owl Hollow, or Hawk Nest. Sites are roomy enough for RV campers and ideal for a private Pacific Northwest getaway. Our property is in close proximity to downtown Bellingham and downtown Ferndale (only 5 miles north or south) and all the delicious restaurants, live music, and parks they provide; but is nestled into a pastoral refuge. Seattle is 1.5 hours south and Vancouver is 1 hour north. Property owners, Kim & Jeff, live onsite if you have questions or need anything; however the camp sites are tucked away such that the camping area is entirely separate. Property is accessed down a long gravel driveway on the east side of Rural Avenue, just across the street from a log cabin/house. The driveway extends past a large barn. Keep right on the driveway at the "Y".

Owl Hollow (tent or RV site)
Exactly our style
Close to town and really close to a convenience store and fuel. Great hosts, quiet (Barred Owl convo’s are cool)…disc golf if that’s your jam. Had coffee with the deer one morning…. It’s a new spot and I would definitely come back. Also, the elevated tent spots are a nice touch if you’re a tenter….we have a teardrop and the fact the spots border a huge field is awesome because you have no pull-through anxiety. In short, this is the kind of place that HipCamp was posted to reveal.

Hawk Nest (tent or RV site)
Great little spot to camp - recommended. Other 2 campsites are spaced well away, which is nice. Even had a surprise latte left on the table for me one morning! Thank you! Be aware that there are trains nearby which will likely hear.

Hawk Nest (tent or RV site)
I loved my stay here! It was peaceful and a perfect spot to spend the week while hanging out in Bellingham during the day. The disc golf was a really nice touch. Some train house but it was gentle and didn't disturb our sleep

Eagle Eyrie (tent or RV site)
I enjoyed camping here, there were closer camps but each space was private with enough distance there was no noise from the other sites. The outhouse was very clean. Beautiful views. I felt very safe solo camping here.

Owl Hollow (tent or RV site)
Great close to town spot to camp. We have a camper van but the tent spots are also really nice. Each spot has a picnic table. Property is very well maintained with a restroom and plenty of space between the 3 sites. Nice frisbee golf area for those who enjoy that.

Owl Hollow (tent or RV site)
Peaceful stay
The site was lovely. Private and quiet. I loved the sound of the train in the distance. There are occasional small planes overhead but that didn’t bother me. I enjoyed the resident eagles and other birds who live in the forest adjacent to the field. There is plenty of space between the three sites and space for my 2 pups to play frisbee. The outhouse was cute and clean. Kim was a gracious host! If I’m back in the area again I will definitely stay here :)
