Potholes Campground

Terrible management. No rule or quiet time enforcement. Camping spaces crammed on top of one another, no privacy or peace. Lots of loud music at all hours. I asked our neighbors to keep it down at 3 am and the neighbor girl wanted me to come out of my tent so he could fight me... (!?) No on site ranger, camp host doesn't leave their site.
Unbearably hot in the summer with very little shade. Rude people. Go somewhere else. We left a day early despite having paid in full. We'll never come back.

Beautiful camp grounds with sweeping views at sunset. The lake is a short walk from the sites. The water is warm and full of boaters, swimmers, and kayaks. BONUS: There's amazing jumping rocks spots about 5 miles down the road. The ranger was really helpful and directed us there. Highly recommend!
