When it comes to summer adventure, it’s hard to beat a refreshing dip in crystal clear meltwater. At Lower Goodell Group Campground, you’ll have a big slice of heaven in your front yard. Soak up the lush smells of western red cedar, western hemlock and Douglas fir trees, explore miles of trails along the rugged North Cascade Range, fish for trout, salmon and steelhead or take a break from austerity at the nearby town of Newhalem. Take note that there's no boating or swimming at the site, and be prepared for the grizzly and black bears who share the land. Wild!
