Northend Campground
Description
Life’s better on top. Or at least on top of Mount Constitution, the highest point in the San Juan islands. A section of Moran State Park’s 5,579-acre camping park, Northend Park is closest to the entrance, just across the road from the swimming beach, but also offering good privacy. Adventure and views run wild in the park—and observation tower reveals views of the surrounding islands, the Cascade Mountains, and a variety of Canadian and American cities, and if you can peel your eyes away, there’s 38 miles of hiking trails, boating, fishing and swimming to enjoy.
