Dragons tent camping
It was a beautiful place with a variety of sites to choose from and ranging in privacy. Be advised the bathroom and shower are part of the owners house, but it’s closed off from the rest of it. Most of the sites don’t have fire pits at them so you’ll need a bucket or to safely make your own. We gathered some river rocks and ultimately left it there for the next people (we apologize if that wasn’t ok!). We enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing. We look forward to coming back when the dog and rabbit run are up and running!

Look Elsewhere....
Sadly, I cannot recommend this campsite. Unless you need to just have somewhere to stop for a night. It's not a campground, but a private individual with a house who cleared out some of the woods on their property to make space for campsites. The host was nice enough, but there's a strange, dingy feel about the entire place. An unsavory man is also staying there in a creepy RV, and it all just felt off, strange, and discomforting and not in a fun haunted house way. It's also first come first served about where you are.
The worst part is that the price is WAY too high for what they are offering. A reasonable price for this place would be maybe $20-30 a night.
The "amenities" they offered are rather disingenuous. The shower and toilet are in the house of the host, which is weird, dingy, and has only a sliding door to the main house which DOES NOT lock! I was here with my wife, and it was pretty uncomfortable. Everything is filthy, covered in cobwebs, with junk and half dirty clothes scattered about. I am honestly shocked these people aren't embarrassed to allow strangers to see such a mess. The lake is tiny, but pleasant and canoeing is an option, though not much to canoe. The hot tub was dirty as well, has no privacy at all, so we didn't even try it.
All in all, we made the best of it, but it wasn't great. I suggest you plan ahead and find any one of the many beautiful camping options in Washington. With a lot of work, it could be a nice place. But it's not yet.

Dragons tent camping
We went tent camping near the lake and enjoyed the quietness and peacefulness of the lake. Having access to a restroom and shower was a plus!

Dragons tent camping
This was my first hip camp experience, so I’m not sure how to compare against a baseline. Host was friendly and welcoming. Our campsite was located on a lake and was quite private. Bring mosquito repellant. We had room for 2 tents. Toilet & shower is a shared bathroom in the hosts house some distance away, as is the water spigot. Fire pit did not have a griddle so cooking was difficult. We did not use any of the other facilities. All in all a great first camping trip of the season.

Horrible Host
Nobody was there to check me in. I went back twice! Just 2 dogs, one very aggressive and the other tangled up in a leash. Now this guy Alex is refusing to refund me!

Can't get much better than this!
Beautiful secluded property and spaced out camp sites. This was our first hipcamp experience and I can't imagine it getting much better than this (beats state park campgrounds by far). Alex was very friendly and gave us a tour when we showed up and otherwise didn't bother us and she had everything set up so we didn't have to bother her (restrooms/shower/lake access). The lake has some huge bass and doesn't seem fished, we weren't able to land a big one but saw them in the water hanging out near the docks and the lake was wonderful to swim in. Gets completely silent at night and isn't too far out from Granite Falls in case you forgot something and need to shop. I would camp here again in a heartbeat and its a shame Alex has had some bad experiences with guests that are leading to her taking this site off hipcamp.
