We loved our stay here, Renato’s place is an absolute gem! The geography is breathtaking and the campsite offered the perfect balance of comfort and solitude (we’ve never seen so many shooting stars!). Renato himself is a wonderful host - he opened the tasting room for us to try his delicious wine and shared a bit about his journey and experience. Overall an awesome spot, we’ll be back.

Understated Gem
Renato is a lovely, thoughtful host and very generous with his beautiful land and wine tasting cellar. We loved it so much we became wine club members!
The sites are minimal and could be designated with clearer signage, but the views are stunning and the wine plentiful. ☺️ We will be back!

Camping at the vineyard
Host was Awsome, very knowledgeable / passionate about his wine and the land he owns. We bought a few bottles to take with us. The site was perfect, we saw the milky-way at night and the morning sunrise was beautiful. Very quite at night!

Vineyard Camp site
We had a great time camping at Renato's vineyard! The canyon setting is serine and quiet. The location is great for folks going to the amphitheater or up the mountain. The road into Palisades is a bit of a shlep, but that's kind of the point! As much space as you would need, the sites are all very generously sized, and have plenty of room to orient yourselves whichever direction suites your fancy. We stayed at site #1 which is the closest to the road that along the canyon floor, tho very few vehicles pass by making it a non-issue. What really makes this hipcamp shine is the hospitality of your host Renato. This passion for the land and wine is truly infectious. Do yourself a favor and do a wine tasting and learn more about the work he has put into the land!
