Sandy beach, salty water, and secluded hiking trails surround Dash Point Campground, and obviously, we’re all about it. Post up at one of the 114 standard campsites, 27 RV spots with a 40-foot maximum, or the single ADA standard site, and then don’t waste another second before hitting the beach—this is a skimboarding mecca, after all! Amenities include one dump station, four restrooms, and six showers, making this campground great for the camper who isn’t quite ready to go all-out primitive yet.

Great black berry picking in the late summer. Can access by local bus (about a mile walk from last stop). Campground on one side of the road, water access and recreation area on the other. Can get loud with jets flying overhead to the airport.

Easy to snag a site on a weekday in the summer without a reservation but not over the weekend. After hours you can still get a first-come first-served site site without a problem.
