Always a great time at Casa Vargas. We got to test out a new tent in the rain, but Juan was very quick to bring us more wood to help dry everything out. We will definitely be back

6 Star Hip Camp
Our third time at Casa Vargas and it did not disappoint. Gorgious Hip Camp and great host. Rising was great and the cool spring weather was very nice. No bugs :-) Juan is very attentive but lets you do your thing. If you need anything he will be there. The sites are nicely separated and peaceful. Looking forward to our next visit. Caught plenty large mouth bass but the 4-5 foot carp are still alluding me.

Water Front At Casa Vargas
Great place!
We loved camping at Juan’s! It was quiet, peaceful and private. Lots of wildlife. Juan came by to make sure we had everything we needed. Firewood available for purchase. We were at the waterfront site and it was beautiful. Thank you! We have a camper van and ground was a bit unlevel at our site but other sites had better flat ground.

50/30/20 amp and water hookup
We had an amazing time at Juan’s ! What a gorgeous property. We could have just stayed on the land and had a great time without even exploring the mountains. The rv spot was nicely secluded, the hosts were so friendly, and the horses were happy to be petted, which was my favorite part. We’ll be back!
