TARA is a Star Host

It all started on a first date in Boston....Nick had to excuse himself to take a phone call. His cow had fled its pasture. Much to Tara's surprise in that moment, this man she had just met was finishing his engineering degree at Northeastern, but was simultaneously building a homestead in Vermont.
Fast forward 7 years, and here we are, building the life we only dreamed of.
We yearned for simplicity. Deeper connections to our surroundings and mother nature. A calmer sense of place. The satisfaction that comes from growing food. Creating with our hands. We're a working farm and homestead. Every day at Quarry Brook is a new adventure, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re incredibly excited to share our little corner of southern Vermont and what we’re up to with you!
Such a nice and peaceful spot! We loved staying in the dome especially in the snow!

Loved the site! Easy access, water, firewood, and fire pit provided. Quarry pond was beautiful and also enjoyed hiking nearby in the Windmill Hill Pinnacle hiking trail network.

Had a great time! Didn’t even realize they had an outhouse for the tent site when I booked it - and that made our experience way more comfortable. Felt very private from any other site, and is a beautiful place with nice fire cooking gear (grill to put over flames, nice non stick pan for searing). Nick was very nice!

The dome was the perfect relaxing getaway we needed. The land & quarry were a treat for us & our pup to enjoy… we really enjoyed the privacy of the dome, enjoyed our evenings by the fire pit, & even with a rainy night, the wood stove & cozy dome made for a wonderful way to enjoy. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!
