Dan found this special place back in 1996. We didn’t move on site until 1999 and still haven’t build our dream home. The years were full of raising our four daughters on this beautiful property. The girls had horses, enjoyed snowmobiles, four wheeling, ice skating, kayaking, sliding parties, camping, picking wild berries and playing in the woods. We had a Christmas tree farm and enjoyed sharing the property and horses with our customers. We now enjoy all this with our two grandsons. It seems only right to share what we have been so blessed to enjoy all these years with others. Learn more about this land: Park your RV or pitch your tent and take some time to relax. Take a walk through the woods, take your kayak out on Otter Creek starting at the base of our driveway or relax with a campfire. Visit Blazer or ring the humongous bell, and check out the wildlife. Do you have a dog? Enjoy the freedom of letting it run and play in the small ponds in the woods. You are most likely to hear the train whistle a time or two. Wonderful Stay!
Melinda & Dan’s place is wonderful. They are fantastic hosts, their land is gorgeous, clean and peaceful., and our dogs had a blast! It was well worth the price and we’ll definitely be back again. Thank you both for the great experience!

Beautiful Land and Nice People
Atopped through for a night from Lake Champlain to the Green Mountains. I loved how simple and large the campsite is, Dan was very kind and accommodating. At night the horses came down to say hello, and the sunrise and sunset are a highlight of the stay. Very simple set up but seems like it would fit the needs of large and small groups of people, or solo travelers like me

Midweek work and play adventure
Beautiful and relaxing place for a cool fall adventure. Frosty meadows, with a big camp fire and a Super Moon! Definitely everything as billed, except hosts Melinda and Dan are even more gregarious and friendly then we would have guessed (particularly at the end of a long camping season). We will definitely be going back there. This is our first Hipcamp booking, and we stayed at the site in a small travel trailer. A little worried the bar has been set too high as we explore other Hip Camp locations!

Perfect experience! Beautiful location, wonderful hosts and convenient to loads of hiking/town access/ space for our dogs to have a great time! Can’t wait to head back again.
