Where the Wild Things Tent/Car Camp
The scenery around the property was spectacular, and the site itself was very roomy and accommodating.

Great campsite, you should book it
Great campsite! Steven is a very nice host and makes sure you have a great time. It’s near the overpriced ULUM glamping site. If you want to see great sunsets, a brilliant night sky: go camp at this campsite. Very spacious and nice terrain.

Fantastic place to camp! I normally just try and find one of the sites heading into town but with everything getting so busy HipCamp saved us the sites are big and ours felt pretty private. Steven also has a super sweet dog that came and hung out with us a few times and we loved her so much. There are two porta potties available.

A Western Camping Trip to Remember
Wow! What a stunning view! Our host was helpful and checked in on us every day to see if we needed anything. Firewood is available for a nominal fee. Each site is cleverly decked out in creative decor that makes this site feel like home. Situated equidistant between Canyonlands and Arches, this was the perfect spot for us to stay while we visited the area. On cloudless nights the star show is (literally) out of this world! In an area where campsites book up early and tend to be on the pricy side, this was an economical option. Note: There is no electricity and cell service is spotty, so if you want to get away from all the distractions of life, this is the place for you. Dogs have the freedom to roam as long as they steer clear of the guard chickens. There are bathrooms available and they are clean and well-stocked. Thanks so much to our host for making my kid's trip out west a memory to last a long time.

Last min perfection!
We had planned to scout dispersed sites upon arrival but after the couple we were going to travel with had to cancel last minute we found this site, perfect for an RV!
+ Views for miles
+ Right next to Looking Glass, visible from site
+ 20 min south of downtown Moab
+ Fire pit, wood bundles on site ($20)
+ Short hikes to even better views
+ Off leash for the dog to run wild (pun intended)
+ Friendly staff
+ Quiet and remote
+ Sunsets and stargazing are spectacular
Highly recommend if your checklist looks like ours 🤩
