This is an incredible spot right on the beach. No hookup, but such a beautiful and quiet location. This was my second time there!!

Found our spot in the dark. Woke up on a quant little lake, beautiful spot to walk and let the kids rip sand dunes with their electric motorbikes. Would definitely return.

A gem in Utah
The area is beautiful and there’s plenty of space to camp. Camp sites had enough space between them and it’s very quiet. Would recommend for someone who wants tranquility and a quiet camping site. The sky at night is so clear, you can see the Milky Way. Getting there is a dirt road so anticipate getting your vehicle dirty. The lakeside itself is drivable and easy to maneuver.

Camp site was full of weeds. Scenic sites are not maintained at all. I spent a lot of time when we got there clearing weeds (pookies) so that we could even walk around. Didn’t except to pay for a camp site and then have to do work on it.

Disappointed
Tent · With kids ·
Initially, grateful that our host was responsive about letting us pay to upgrade from a tent site because of the extreme wind. Also, provided nice instructions on where to go. Unfortunately, after arriving, we walked to the beach and there was glass everywhere in the sand. Then, I pulled out the couch to make the bed for the kids and saw a lot of mouse droppings. I texted the host and he told me they would set traps around the place. That was nice, but didn’t really help. So I just had the kids cram into the bed with me. As we were getting ready to go to bed, we saw a mouse running across the floor. We texted the host to see what we should do, hoping they would move us to a clean space. They suggested trapping it and cornering it outside. We tried and were unsuccessful, so we sat and watched it run around our shoes and belongings before we decided to leave to a hotel. We texted the host to let them know and after we had left the premises and booked new lodging they suggested moving us to a new space. I would have preferred that option as it was very late, but it didn’t come until we had packed up and left. I understand that this is nature and mice happen, but it looked like lots of other spaces were empty and I think we should have been moved when we found mouse droppings. I paid $120 to upgrade to a bigger space and asked if I could be refunded the $120 and they could keep the $100 we paid for the tent space. Text was ignored. Paid $219 for a place we didn’t stay

Not private but nice beach spot
21 ft toy hauler · With pets ·
Nice if you have something like a camper or RV, the place is pretty packed and the sites are very close to each other so there is no privacy. People have their dogs off leash and one of the dogs nearby ran up to us when we got there with our dogs. It had torn out its leash from the hook in the sand and could have been very dangerous if my male dog was with us, thankfully he was in the car. The entire beach is also covered in burr seeds (prickly spiky big seeds) and i had to chop off like half of my dogs coat. We also stepped on them a lot which hurts.
