North Campground makes it easy to swing by the general store for an ice cream before watching the sun sink behind the hoodoos at Sunset Point.

RV wranglers, tent campers and groups will all find some shade, access to restrooms, and firepits. Definitely try for a spot along the rim, and while you’ll want to stoke a fire into the night, don’t forget to put it out a bit before bed and enjoy that famous Bryce Canyon night sky!

Camped here in late May and it was SNOWING. But it made the whole experience so beautiful. The sites were walk-in only and we had ZERO problems getting a site. There were plenty still available in May. But we weren't here over a weekend. Plenty quiet here. Bathrooms have running water and toilers. No showers. Pretty close to the visitor center and can walk to the lodge area. Trash area is far, down towards the extra parking area. Pleasant quiet solitude after the harsh crowds at Zion. And Bryce is magical.

Bring a camera. If hiking the Under-the-Rim trail, be sure you're comfortable with steep trail grades.

It's rocky on the tent pad and it could use some landscaping, but the bathrooms were fairly clear and the sites are spaced apart for some privacy. The sites are also huge! We could have had two more tents with us.

We loved camping at Bryce and felt lucky we were able to grab a spot during the busy July 4th weekend! The campground host was extremely helpful and kind. The spots are nicely spaced out and are surround by trees which provide much needed shade in the summer. Elevation is high so be sure to bring warm gear as nights can get pretty cold. Bathrooms are clean and showers are available in the General Store (just a short drive away). Camp is located closely to the hoodoos.

Get there early and snag a spot, but keep an eye to see if a Primo spot opens up.

Bring warm clothing, even in spring the temperature isn't that warm.

cost $20 per night on top of $30 park entrance fee rather pricey. Bathroom with hot water & flushing toilets. Summer free Astronomy show Thurs & some Tues telescope star viewing.
