These are unique camping spots along the Guadalupe River. I didn’t exactly understand how unique until I started getting feedback from my campers. The surrounding scenery will lower your blood pressure and do wonders to let you reconnect with nature. Sit back and close your eyes late in the evening and listen to all the wildlife talking to each other. There is faint traffic noise from 90A about a 1/3 of a mile away but it calms down after 7 or so. Currently no amenities but I am in the plans for some portable bathrooms. Please be prepared to cover all your bathroom and cooking needs. I do have some good clean well water from a faucet on the way into the campgrounds. Campfires are permitted. There is a convenience store (Diamond A) with clean bathrooms and a great bbq just 5 miles to the west on 90A and a Walmart and HEB 10 miles to the east on 90A. No dogs over 20 pounds on sites 1 and 2 but sites 3 and 4 are great areas to bring your high-energy dogs. No matter the size or temperament of your pets you are always expected to have them under your control at ALL times. I have very small livestock on the area on occasion. I am almost always on the property and try to have my phone with me while campers are on site, just let me know what you need and I will do what I can to accommodate you.

Shade trees were appreciated
Our group had a good time. We paddled up river all the way to the dam and I think Billy’s property was nicer than anything we saw up river.

Amazing! This spot is my absolute favorite. It's so beautiful and peaceful, and it feels truly private. The view is incredible.

Site 2 riverside (steep bank)
We had a wonderful day and night on Billy’s land. Super easy to find and just a quick hour from Austin. The firewood provided was perfect and plenty to last us all night. Billy’s communication and accommodation was superb, we would love to come back. (Also, super cute baby goats roaming the fields next to the campground!!)

Hidden gem
The site was awesome, a little gem tucked away on the shore of the river. We had a neighbor at a comfortable distance, no issues with noise or anything. Wildlife along the river is abundant(armadillos, possums, raccoons, squirrels, etc). We dropped our kayaks in and followed the river, fished and enjoyed the relief of the shade from the tree cover.

Pricy for what you get
I was in site 1 (pecan) and this is my conclusion The best: 1-Privacy The worst: 1-it is pricy in my opinion for the minimum to zero amenities.. (no electricity no table, just 2 rusty chair and a fire ring). no water in the site.. (there is a well close by the entrance like quarter mile away from the actual site). 2- it is very close from the route and the actual noise of the car break the lovely environment. It is pretty loud even at night while sleeping. 3- river is not accesible from the site... you must walk a bit to find a spot to fish but is no very convenient. the level is very low and full full of underwater trees and brunches .. 1 out 2 cast will warranty a snag where you will lose your lure.

Billy’s campsites were absolutely stunning, he was easy to communicate with and it was an absolute joy to be allowed to camp here. I highly recommend anyone looking for a quiet secluded place to just relax to check his campsites out. Will definitely be returning!
