Site 1 - Hideout Ridge
Hidden Gem
I planned our first family camping trip at Hideout Ridge, and it was a great success. The campsites are incredibly private, you cannot see your neighbors, which is hard to find nowadays. The hiking trails were great. The pond by campsite 4, has a walk out pier which made the kids first fishing attempt another success, we didn't catch anything but the objective was casting. The host responded to every message I sent, and was very welcoming. The bathhouse was very clean and well maintained.

Site 2 - Hideout Ridge
Lovely spot to go camping. Property is beautiful and each tent spot feels like its own little area. This was our second time at Hideout Ridge, the first with our baby, and it’s definitely nice to have a bathhouse on site.

Not a better place in Texas!
Such a beautiful slice of heaven in Texas. We never thought Texas could be so lush and full of birdsong. We could have stayed forever. Thank you for the night geocaching fun! Hideout Ridge was the perfect place to watch the eclipse. We’ll never forget it!

RV Camp Spot #2
Little slice of calm
This a a nice peaceful place to spend a few days if you are trying to get away from DFW or just passing through. The property is park like with walking trails, games, a pond and just a few campsite so you can spread out. They newly added a bathhouse with sink, toilet and shower. They have two small cabins as well and are in the process of building two more.
