Tri Mountain View Campground is located in the Northeast corner of Tennessee in the town of Shady Valley. With an elevation of 2,800 feet, Shady Valley is the second highest town in Tennessee. It is just 26 miles from the Bristol Raceway and the Bristol Caverns. It is just a 15 minute drive to Backbone rock and a short drive to the Appalachian Trail. The property was a Dairy Farm and went out of business in the late 90’s and since then there has been over 3,000 trees planted. Some of these trees include the rare Butternut and Hazelnut, but mostly White Pine, Walnut and Oaks. The property has approximately 1,000 feet of fishing on Beaver dam creek, so we recommend bringing waders. The property owner and onsite host were very nice and prompt. The property has a wonderful view and it's a great location. The bathhouse was dirty during our 3-night stay and had an overwhelming musty smell.

I wish I had more time here. I arrived much later than anticipated and had to be on the road early. Walter was a great host, texted me once he saw I was coming in after dark to make sure I was able to get to the site. I awoke to a beautiful view and had a chance to see what I missed by arriving late. I will definitely return and look forward to exploring next time.

Tent camping
This camp site is in a beautiful location, quiet, peaceful, and laid back. Waking up to the roosters crowing in the distance. Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in the area.
