Primitive, Hammock, Tent camping, and small campers (16ft ish and under only, WITH NO HOOKUPS) at its absolute best! Great riverfront campsites as well as more secluded wooded sites just a short walk away from the riverfront. Howlin' Hill has the best riverfront beach access on this stretch of the gorgeous Duck River. Most of our campsites are shaded by a continuous tree canopy and each site is equipped with a fire pit. We have firewood for sale near the check-in station. Early summertime offers an amazing light show performed by thousands of lightning bugs. Portables and spring fed showers are provided within walking distance from your site. Located just 8 miles from Chapel Hill and Henry Horton State Park, our campgrounds can be reached in under an hour from many of Middle Tennessee’s more urban areas.

Hidden gem
Awesome camp hosts, super clean toilets, beautiful trees and riverfront. Be sure to work a river float/canoe/kayak into your plans, the river there is gorgeous.

The campground is clean and well kept. The owners are very personable and hospitable. Everyone at the campground was friendly and respectful. We will definitely stay at Howlin' Hill again and we have already begun telling others of our wonderful experience.

Showers
Showers are spring-fed, which I was looking forward to, but the shower shed had numerous cobwebs to deal with along with extremely weak water pressure.

Tent camping
I loved tent camping at Sarah’s. The spots were very nice and clean. It was very peaceful and separated from your fellow campers. Beautiful view and nice spot on the river. We will definitely be back

Father and daughter annual trip.
Their tent sites are great, my daughter and I have a father/daughter trip every year to canoe the river and camp at Howlin Hill. This is is our favorite campground and Jenny is great. Thanks again and see you next year, Jason

Was a nice peaceful little space to its self near the water me and my girlfriend had a great time cooking and spending the night
