Primitive, Hammock, Tent camping, and small campers (16ft ish and under only, WITH NO HOOKUPS) at its absolute best! Great riverfront campsites as well as more secluded wooded sites just a short walk away from the riverfront. Howlin' Hill has the best riverfront beach access on this stretch of the gorgeous Duck River. Most of our campsites are shaded by a continuous tree canopy and each site is equipped with a fire pit. We have firewood for sale near the check-in station. Early summertime offers an amazing light show performed by thousands of lightning bugs. Portables and spring fed showers are provided within walking distance from your site. Located just 8 miles from Chapel Hill and Henry Horton State Park, our campgrounds can be reached in under an hour from many of Middle Tennessee’s more urban areas.

Down by the river
Nice secluded spot down by the river. Great location if you have a kayak or canoe to fish/relax. Owner checked in to make sure everything was good. You are fairly close to I65 so there is some road noise.

What a perfect spot! Right by the river. Other campers were a good distance away. The owners stopped by twice to see if we were all good. We had a great peaceful night!

Great property, even better hosts! Loved the little campsite. Also liked that you could get ice and firewood on site. Happy to see you can launch a kayak from the property. Only note: the porta potty that you can see from the site is a longer walk than to the one by the shower house, haha. Only because a big gully runs through the space. No problem, just plan accordingly. This was just perfect and I will surely be back next year!
