Comfortable Nights Rest
We stayed at Howlin Hill for a quick overnight stay when traveling from New Orleans to Cincinnati during the winter. While it was cold and empty during our stay, we could tell the land would be beautiful during warmer months with some fun concerts. Campsites 11 and 13 are near the river and tucked into a cozy little valley. The porta potty was clean. We’d definitely stay here again.

Camp Site 17.
These sites are beautiful and secluded near a slow moving river. The camp sites are well maintained and the hosts are very nice and accommodating. I look forward to returning in my future travels. Jenny was so helpful in allowing me to camp in another site since the one I had chosen was too small for my rig.

The campsite was wonderful. It was clean and clear for our tenants plenty of coverage close to the pit for our hammocks. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We went at the very beginning of November so it was mostly empty. But it was a great time for all of us and we will definitely be returning.

The site was perfect. Attending a seminar at Henry Horton State Park. Hip Camps are awesome. Jenny came down to the site to check on us even though we came in late. Clean and comfortable!

Down by the river
Nice secluded spot down by the river. Great location if you have a kayak or canoe to fish/relax. Owner checked in to make sure everything was good. You are fairly close to I65 so there is some road noise.
